Hi All,
When I look back on this past year in terms of technology two events stand out, first was the presidential candidates debating on YouTube and the second is that Queen Elizabeth has established the The Royal Channel: the official channel of the British Monarchy on YouTube at:
http://youtube.com/profile?user=TheRoyalChannel The queen gives her Christmas address every year. This year the address was posted on her YouTube channel. It was not just the queen speaking, but a multimedia presentation of clips from her first televised Christmas address as Queen in 1957 and other clips of the soldiers in Afghanistan and the dedication of the National Armed Forces Memorial. It is amazing to think how far technology has taken us even in just one year.
Happy New Year to All of You

Hi All,
I have used Flickr once before for a library school project. It was very cool. We used it to do a review of a library. We set it up so that the professor could look at the pictures and our comments would appear when the cursor was over different objects in each of the pictures.
Kodak also has a photo website called Kodak photo gallery at : http://www.kodakgallery.com/Welcome.jsp
The Kodak site is easy to use. but it set up differently than Flickr. I have used it to post some of my pictures so that my family and friends can see them. I just send them the link instead of a attachment.
I thought that the Flickr picture river was very cool. you can find it at:
